A day in the life of ......: June 2005

Ya it is time to go to Disneyland, up at 2:30 am to get everyone ready to head to the airport. Jennifer's mom takes to Portland to the airport we get there and check in get to our gate and then tell the kids that we have something to tell them. We tell them that we are not going to Seattle for the weekend but that we are going to California (Disneyland). They are really excited and can't believe that we did not tell them what we were doing. Time to board the plane we taxi out but the 2nd engine will not start. So we taxi back and they try to find one, but no one in Portland have one so they find one in Denver. We all get back off the plane and wait for the part to arrive from Denver. So after a 4 hr delay we get back on the Airplane and fly off to L.A. We get our rental car and head to our Hotel to check in and then to Disneyland and California Adventure to close them down for the day. On day two we spend most of it in California Adventure riding all of the rides and seeing the shows we like it over there a lot. Day three we had early entry so we went to fantasyland and rode all the rides without lines. Then we were off to Toontown where Mayor Micky made us all Horary Citizens of Toontown went on a few rides and then went back to our room for breakfast and naps. Returned to the park around 1:00 to meet up with Robert, Kristen, and Jade. Then we spend the day with them riding rides and seeing the parade's then we went out to dinner in Downtown Disney to the Rain forest Cafe. It is a really nice place to eat and the kids love the thunderstorms. Day 4 we slept in and then went to Disneyland to watch the Snow White Musical and rode some more rides. Then went to get our annual passes, after that we went to California Adventure to see there new Block Party Bash it was a lot of fun and I think the kids really enjoyed it. It was so busy for the fireworks that we decided to watch them for outside the park, they were cool but I think you really need to see them for inside the park. We will make sure to do this at Christmas time when we go. The next morning we woke up at 3:30 to get ready and to the Airport for our plane home. We were all glad to be home as well as sad to leave the parks. Can't wait until December when we all get to go back for another 4 days of fun.
